You've asked for it and we've done it! You'll be happy to know we've added our own line of Weatherwood Varnishes to perfectly hold the look of oxidized wood. Varnishes provide architectural quality wood protection for millwork, cabinetry, and furniture in your home. These finishes are suitable for interior use, including high water and high traffic areas in your home.
Our topcoats our specially formulated for three things:
- Specially formulated to hold our weathered wood colors!
- Architectural quality for the highest degree of protection.
- Non-yellowing, water-based formula.
Varnish can be applied uses a brush, roller and spray gun. You will absolutely love applying our varnishes with your spray gun, with their excellent flow out and tough film formation. You should plan to apply 2-3 coats of Varnish for superior wood protection, especially on high touch and water areas in the home.

Weatherwood varnish comes in three sheens and the degree of sheen will have some affect the final color. The less sheen you choose, the closer you end project will look like the untopcoated Weatherwood stained wood. Our Dead Flat Varnish creates almost no visible difference, while our Satin Varnish is provides a nice moderate amount of sheen, darkening wood about a shade or two.
